Japanese woodworking forums presented by www.japanesetools.com i recently got a 20oz japanese chisel hammer and it came without a wedge holding the head to the handle. i called the company i got the hammer from and i was told that hammer does dot come with a wedge. after using it a short time the head started slipping off.. Japanese hand tools - a forum for the discussion of japanese hand tools. what makes them good, how to tell the good tools from the bad, and how to use and look after them.. Infact this forum is the only one left in this country exclusively devoted to japanese tools. for this we should all be eternally greatful. the internet itself makes a vastly larger universe of information available to all of us than was available twenty years ago..
